Memorise the Quran with a method you keep for life.
Her Hifdh Journey teaches you the foundations of Hifdh: how to begin, how to memorise a new portion, how to revise what you already carry, and what to do when your week changes. And inside the course, you memorise real Quran with me.
8 self-paced modules · Guided Quran application · Lifetime access · 7-day course-fit promise
Three women begin here.
Those foundations apply whether you're memorising your first ayah, returning after a break, or already carrying Hifdh that needs a clearer system.
You're beginning
You want to start, and you don't know what to choose first, what to set up, or what a memorisation session is meant to look like. You'll learn the foundations: how to understand what you're memorising, how to memorise it, and how to revise it properly from the beginning.
You're returning
You memorised before and life interrupted you. You'll learn how to assess what you still carry, what needs revision first, when to resume new memorisation, and how to return without starting again from zero.
You already memorise
You're memorising, but your process changes depending on what you last read or watched. You'll leave with one foundation for memorisation, revision, assessment and planning, and you'll know how to adjust it as your Hifdh grows.
I spent 17 years memorising the Quran. Then I spent more than a decade teaching other people how to do it.
I completed my Hifdh at 19, Alhamdulillah, while growing up in Sydney and going to school the entire way through.
I didn't put the rest of my life on hold to memorise the Quran.
Hifdh had to fit around school, exams, family life and changing capacity.
And that shaped the way I teach it now.
After completing my Hifdh, I spent more than ten years teaching Quran to over 500 students. And I kept hearing the same questions:
- Where do I actually begin?
- How much should I memorise at a time?
- How many times should I repeat an ayah?
- How do I know when a portion is strong enough to continue?
- Should I revise today or memorise something new?
- What do I do when life interrupts my Hifdh?
So over the years, I kept refining the way I taught the process. How to approach a new portion. How to divide it. How to know when it needs more work. How to revise what you've already memorised. How to decide what needs your attention next. And how to shape all of that around a real life that won't always be predictable.
Her Hifdh Journey is that method, organised and taught from beginning to end.
I didn't create it by collecting random Hifdh tips and putting them into a course. It comes from my own memorisation, years of maintaining and revising my Hifdh, and more than a decade of teaching students through the same questions.
4 steps. Every ayah. Every session.
A full module teaches this sequence on a real Mus'haf, so you follow the same process whether you have an hour or fifteen minutes. In Module 6, you memorise real Quran with me.
Listen
Hear the ayah correctly before you attempt it, from a reciter you have chosen and stayed with, so the sound is set before the memorising begins.
Look and Read
Read the ayah from the Mus'haf with your eyes on the page, noticing the shape of the words and where each one sits on the line.
Divide and Memorise
Break longer ayat into manageable portions when you need to, memorise each portion, then connect them into one continuous recitation.
Review
Close the Mus'haf and recite from memory. You finish the session knowing whether the portion is steady enough to continue, and what still needs attention.
I don't want you searching for another Hifdh method six months from now.
I know what I've put inside Her Hifdh Journey. I don't want you spending the next ten years saving another memorisation rule, watching another video about how many times to repeat an ayah, or changing your whole process every time something gets difficult.
Bi'ithnillah, by the end you'll know how to memorise a new portion, revise the Hifdh you already carry, recognise what needs attention, tell when revision needs to come first, plan around the time you have, adjust when your capacity changes, and return after a difficult season.
Your question should stop being "How do I memorise the Quran?" and start being:
- What needs my attention right now?
- Does revision need to come first?
- Which plan fits my capacity this week?
- Where do I return after this break?
You'll still learn from teachers and keep growing, insha'Allah. But you shouldn't need a completely different Hifdh system every time you meet a new problem.
8 modules. 5 stages. One complete Hifdh journey.
Work through the five stages in order. By the end you hold one method for memorising, one for revising, and a schedule shaped around your real week.
Preparing Your Heart for Hifdh
Renew your intention for the sake of Allah ﷻ, understand the reward of carrying the Quran, and correct the beliefs that have kept you waiting.
Your Hifdh Foundations
Set the foundations you'll return to for the rest of your Hifdh: what you already carry, where you're beginning, how you'll track it, your Mus'haf, your reciter, your meaning resources, and who will hear your recitation.
Memorising With Meaning
Use translation, short tafsir, the flow of the Surah, and the differences between similar ayat, so you understand what you're memorising and know what comes next.
The Memorisation Method
Follow the full sequence on a real Mus'haf: prepare with meaning, listen, look and read, divide and memorise, then Review until the portion is steady enough to continue.
The Revision Method
Create a daily Revision Wird, strengthen the exact words where your recitation breaks down, and follow a weekly plan that holds recent and older Hifdh together.
Memorise With Me
Demonstrations in Surat An-Naba, then open your Mus'haf and memorise the final two ayat of Surat Al-Baqarah with me.
Your Hifdh Schedule
Create your Full Plan, your Flexible Plan and your Minimum Plan, including a fifteen-minute minimum, placed in the pockets you already have: school runs, commutes, lunch breaks, study sessions, nap times or the quiet part of your evening. Adjust the schedule as your capacity changes.
Your Hifdh in Every Season
Know what to do during low motivation, plateaus, burnout, haydh, nifas and the postpartum weeks, disrupted weeks, and the days when listening is all you can manage. Know how to return after a long break.
Memorise With Me
This is where the method moves from something you understand to something you're doing.
I don't explain the method and leave you to work out how it applies. You see it demonstrated on real Quran, and then we memorise together.
- Demonstrations in Surat An-Naba, where I take the ayat the way I'd take them myself.
- The final two ayat of Surat Al-Baqarah, memorised with me. You open your Mus'haf and we memorise them together, from the first word to the last.
- How I understand the portion before memorising it
- How I approach the ayat
- Where we divide, and where we don't
- How much repetition we actually use
- How we connect the portions into one recitation
- What to do when an area needs more work
- How we bring the portion together at the end
By the end of the module you haven't only understood the method. You've used it on real Quran, and you've memorised the final two ayat of Surat Al-Baqarah with me.
What students say about learning the Quran with Maryam.
"I can now memorise the Quran and understand its meanings."
Maryam's explanations helped me connect more deeply with the Quran and feel confident in memorising.
"When I see something written in Arabic, I can read it."
This was my third attempt to learn. Maryam filled the gaps left by previous tutors, and I can now read word by word without becoming frustrated.
"My recitation has improved, and I can pronounce letters with confidence and accuracy."
As a busy revert, I found the course easy to understand and could work through the lessons in my own time.
Imagine a life where the Quran is always with you.
You choose the Surah, instead of defaulting to the same three
You lead your own prayer with passages you've memorised and revised, rather than returning to the short Surahs you've known since childhood.
Your children hear the Quran from you
You recite to your child from memory at bedtime. She grows up watching her mother revise, so Hifdh looks ordinary to her.
What you memorised last Ramadan is still with you
You open a Surah you memorised twelve months ago and recite it without relearning it from the beginning, because you know how to identify weak areas and return to them through regular revision.
What changes in an ordinary week.
Everything you need to memorise, revise and keep going.
Each of these sells on its own. They're all included when you enrol.

If you're here, you probably already know me.
In case you don't, here are the parts of my story that shaped this course.
These are the reasons Her Hifdh Journey teaches Hifdh the way it does. It brings together what I learned through my own memorisation and revision, more than a decade of teaching students, and formal training in how people learn.
In a few weeks, Ramadan will be here, insha'Allah.
If Hifdh has been sitting in the back of your mind for months or years, I don't want Ramadan to arrive and leave you asking the same question again:
"Where do I even begin?"
Her Hifdh Journey isn't a Ramadan challenge. You don't need to rush through the course before Ramadan, or suddenly memorise a huge amount of Quran.
The goal is simpler than that:
Begin now.
Understand your foundation.
Know how you'll memorise.
Know how you'll revise.
Know what your Hifdh looks like on a full day, a busy day and a difficult day.
So when Ramadan arrives, you're not starting from confusion. You already know what to do.
Bi'ithnillah, you can begin before Ramadan with a Hifdh foundation you'll keep using long after Ramadan ends.
Her Hifdh Journey opens in January 2027.

All your questions, answered.
Yes. Her Hifdh Journey is a foundational course. Module 2: Your Hifdh Foundations sets up everything you need before your first ayah, including your Mus'haf, your reciter, your meaning resources and who will hear you recite. You don't need any previous Hifdh to begin.
You'll learn how to assess what you still carry, what needs revision first, and when to resume new memorisation. Module 8: Your Hifdh in Every Season covers returning after low motivation, burnout, disrupted weeks or a long absence, and My Hifdh Planner has pages for Capacity Changes and Returning After a Break.
You should be able to read Quranic Arabic from the Mus'haf, even slowly. Your Tajweed doesn't need to be perfect. Many women improve their recitation while they memorise, and you can use Tajweed Made Easy alongside this course. If you're still learning to join Arabic letters, begin with Learn to Read the Quran in Two Hours first.
No. Adults memorise differently, with more understanding of meaning and more reason to hold on to what they memorise. Her Hifdh Journey is written for an adult woman with responsibilities rather than a child with empty days. You begin from where you are.
A Full Plan session is 45 to 60 minutes. When that isn't possible, your Flexible Plan divides your Hifdh across the pockets in your day, and your Minimum Plan is fifteen minutes, with a listening fallback for the days you can't sit with the Mus'haf. You create all three inside Module 7.
Yes. Her Hifdh Journey is 8 self-paced modules, worked through in order. Nothing is released on a schedule, so you can move faster or slower as your season allows.
Your lessons open in any browser on your phone, tablet, laptop or television, and My Hifdh Planner, Quran at a Glance and the Module Quick Guides are printable PDFs you can download and keep. Lifetime access refers to the lifetime of the course platform. If Her Hifdh Journey is ever retired, you'll be given advance notice so you can download your resources and watch any lessons you still want to complete.
No. The course teaches you how to memorise, revise, plan and identify weak areas, but I don't correct your recitation personally. A qualified female Quran teacher should hear you recite, and the course shows you how to find one and how to check yourself while you look.
Module 8: Your Hifdh in Every Season covers how to adjust your memorisation, revision, reading and listening through haydh, nifas and the postpartum weeks, and how to return when your body and your energy change. Follow the scholarly position you trust on reciting from and handling the Mus'haf.
The Founding Cohort opens on Monday 11 January 2027 and closes on Friday 15 January 2027 at 11:59 pm Sydney time, insha'Allah. The Founding Cohort price is $197 USD, and there's no limit on how many women can join. Join the waitlist and you'll hear from me before enrolment opens.
A live practical workshop with me on Sunday 17 January 2027, for women who join the Founding Cohort. We set up your starting point, open My Hifdh Planner together, assess the Hifdh you already carry, choose your starting portion, set your Full, Flexible and Minimum Plans, and work through your practical Hifdh questions live.
Begin Module 1 during your first 7 days. If Her Hifdh Journey isn't right for you, email us within 7 days of purchase and before opening Module 2 to receive a full refund, no questions asked.

Begin with one ayah.
You don't need another collection of Hifdh tips. You need to understand how Hifdh works: how to memorise a portion, how to keep what you've memorised, and what to do when your week changes. Bi'ithnillah, that's what Her Hifdh Journey was created to teach you.
The Quran you memorise, revise, struggle over and keep returning to is the Quran that, by Allah's permission, will intercede for its companion.
The Founding Cohort opens Monday 11 January 2027, insha'Allah
